Radial mainsail 10b
In the winter of 2015 Jim Hunt set about developing a new Radial Mainsail. The mainsail is made from RS2.5 and built with a radial clew to just above the first batten, vertical radial panels through the next two battens and radial head to just below the top batten. The full radial design enables us to build the sail with straighter exits, a larger projected leech and great longevity. Each sail includes black numbers, window, foot rope, high load blocks for the cunningham and HD Custom epoxy Battens. Our radial sail has already risen to the top winning the 2016 & 2017 World Championships .
Radial mainsail R1
During the winter of 2019 we have developed a flatter version of the 10B. Aimed as either a sail for the lighter weight sailors or a heavy weather sail. The R1 has a flatter base and a more twisted leech profile. The luff curve will be cut to suit your bend numbers and each sail includes black numbers, window, foot rope, high load blocks for the cunningham and HD Custom epoxy Battens.
The R1 has proven to be a fast sail and won the World Championships in 2023!

Radial Mainsail R2
In 2023 we set out to design a slightly flatter version of our R1 Mainsail. This is to achieve covering a wider wind range in your quiver of sails. The R2 complements using a sail for the heavier wind range.
The R2 has proven it self by winning the World Championships in 2024!
